Plan 9
So, Kent inspired me to install Plan 9 today, so I jammed it onto Fungi. The installation was fairly painless, and it booted like a charm. I logged in and started up the networking, which is incredibly easy to do. Then, I hopped on #plan9 at freenode and asked for help. fgb came to the rescue, and assisted me in installing ircc, and IRC client. Overall, I really like it so far. As insane as it is, it’s not too bad.

Hi, is it possible to run Ruby on Plan9 ?

I would think it would be possible, but the Plan9 compiler isn’t GCC, though you can install GCC. I’m not sure what version of GCC Ruby currently requires, but I’m fairly certain you could install at least an older version or Ruby on a Plan9 box.
